As far as a fertilizer, this product contains proper nutrients to produce more blooms new growth and green leaves. It also includes micronutrients like boron copper iron manganese and zinc.

As a systemic insecticide it contains Imidacloprid which is a systemic insecticide and is absorbed through the roots to protect the entire plant from aphids thrips Japanese beetles and other insects. Since it takes time for the plant to absorb this product, it's best to use during the gowing season (as soon as it starts) Application rate: For roses: Apply 2 ounces 12 teaspoons or 4 tablespoons. For shrubs: Apply 4 ounces 24 teaspoons or 8 tablespoons per foot of plant height. For flower beds: Apply 4 ounces 24 teaspoons or 8 tablespoons per 12 square feet. Water in thoroughly.  N-P-K Ratio: 14-12-11.
