Strong immune boost with NAC, zinc, selenium, and D3

NutraBio First Response is a strong immune support powder that's simple and smart: it loads up on the key nutrients and antioxidants your body needs when immune stress, oxidation, travel, heavy lifting, crappy sleep, or seasonal bugs pile on. This isn't a jam-packed 'superfood' thing. It's a focused, fully open-label mix centered on vitamin C, vitamin D3, zinc, selenium, copper, and NAC at doses way higher than your average daily wellness stuff.

The big hitter is vitamin C at 3,000mg as ascorbic acid. That's a hefty amount compared to basic multis, making this perfect for those 'oh crap' moments rather than light daily use. Vitamin C backs up your white blood cells, recycles antioxidants, and strengthens skin and tissues. You won't get a buzz like from caffeine, but folks reach for it when they need fast coverage during high immune demand. Heads up: 3,000mg tops the usual adult upper limit of 2,000mg/day, so watch your stomach and use it smartly, not on top of other big vitamin C doses.

Vitamin D3 comes in at 50mcg, that's 2,000 IU, a solid daily hit for immune signaling. Your immune cells have receptors for it, and low levels are super common. This dose isn't overkill, but it's enough for steady use, especially if you're stuck inside a lot.

Zinc is 30mg as zinc bisglycinate chelate, a form that's easy on the gut and absorbs well. Zinc has good evidence for immune support, and research including a Cochra

NutraBio First Response by NutraBio contains 3000mg Vitamin C, a clinical dose for muscle recovery and growth.

Key Highlights

  • 3,000mg vitamin C as ascorbic acid — this is a real powerhouse dose, not just a tiny bit for show. Grab it when you need big antioxidant and immune help, not just basic daily stuff.
  • 600mg NAC — a solid dose of N-acetyl cysteine that helps your body make glutathione. That's key because glutathione is your body's main inside antioxidant during workouts, sickness, or tough environments.
  • 30mg zinc as bisglycinate chelate — a beefy zinc amount in a quality chelated form. Zinc helps build and run your immune cells, and this beats the weak doses in most multis.
  • 50mcg vitamin D3 — that's 2,000 IU of cholecalciferol for immune signals and daily needs. It's a smart dose if you're low on sun or need extra during rough seasons.
  • 200mcg selenium as glycinate — a good hit for antioxidant enzymes. Selenium teams up with glutathione systems, making it a great match for NAC and vitamin C.
  • 3mg copper as bisglycinate chelate — smart move here. High zinc can mess with copper, so adding this keeps your minerals in check instead of causing issues.
  • Fully open label — no hidden blends, no mystery amounts. You can check every ingredient and dose yourself against what the studies say.
  • Chelated minerals — zinc and copper are bisglycinate chelates, which are easier to handle and absorb than cheap forms. That's huge if you're using this regularly.

NutraBio First Response by NutraBio contains 3000mg Vitamin C, a clinical dose for muscle recovery and growth.

Who Is This For?

  • Athletes in heavy training who know missed days start with crap recovery, bad sleep, and immune hits, not just soreness. The 3,000mg vitamin C, 600mg NAC, 30mg zinc, and 200mcg selenium give real backup when workouts stress you out.
  • Travelers facing airports, hotels, wonky sleep, dry air, and new germs. This mix of high vitamin C, vitamin D3, zinc, selenium, and NAC is easy to use when your routine's messed up.
  • Busy workers and parents who crash fast under stress and want more than a weak multi. First Response is for targeted immune hits, not spread-thin general stuff.
  • Lifters who use performance supps and need dedicated immune and antioxidant help, not hoping their pre covers it. The mineral forms and copper show smart details savvy users want.
  • Folks low on sun, indoors all day, needing daily vitamin D3 with immune minerals. 50mcg is solid without making it a vitamin D bomb.
  • People who want NAC for glutathione and stress handling. 600mg is a good solo dose, no need for extras.

How to Use

Mix 1 scoop with 8-12 oz water and drink once a day during busy times or when you feel off. With 3,000mg ascorbic acid, it's often best with food if your gut's sensitive. If high vitamin C is new or your stomach acts up, try half a scoop first, then go full if it's good. Use a shaker for easy mixing, and cold water makes it taste better with ascorbic powders. Stacks well with protein, creatine, electrolytes, and gym supps since it's for immune, not overlapping. Don't stack blindly with extra zinc, selenium, vitamin D, or NAC unless you tally totals. No stims, so no cycling needed. Keep it cool and dry with the lid tight to avoid moisture.

What to Expect

Right after mixing, it's more about ease than a big feel since no stims. In the first hours, it's working inside: vitamin C, zinc, selenium, vitamin D3, and NAC get absorbed for immune and antioxidant action, not a noticeable buzz. Days 1-7, it's best during stress, travel, bad sleep, or early rundown feels when you want quick backup. By week 1, steady use keeps up nutrients many skip when life's nuts. Weeks 2-4, the win is consistent coverage from vitamin D3, zinc, selenium, and NAC through long hauls. Not a wow moment; it's about filling gaps before they bite.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does NutraBio First Response actually contain per serving?

Each 1-scoop serving provides 3,000mg vitamin C, 50mcg vitamin D3, 30mg zinc as zinc bisglycinate chelate, 200mcg selenium as selenium glycinate, 3mg copper as copper bisglycinate chelate, and 600mg NAC. The verified formula is fully disclosed with no proprietary blend.

Is NutraBio First Response a daily immune formula or something to use only when I feel run down?

It can work in both roles, but the formula clearly leans toward targeted high-potency support. The 3,000mg vitamin C and 30mg zinc make it especially useful during travel, hard training blocks, seasonal exposure, poor sleep, or the first sign your system is under pressure.

Why is copper included in an immune formula?

Because 30mg zinc is a serious dose, and high zinc intake can reduce copper absorption over time. Including 3mg copper helps maintain mineral balance instead of creating a deficiency risk while pushing zinc aggressively.

Is 3,000mg of vitamin C too much?

It is intentionally high and above the adult tolerable upper intake level of 2,000mg per day, which is why this is best used thoughtfully. Many people tolerate it well, but those with sensitive digestion should consider taking it with food or starting with a smaller amount.

What is the purpose of NAC in this formula?

NAC provides cysteine, the rate-limiting precursor for glutathione synthesis. That gives the formula a meaningful antioxidant and cellular defense angle beyond basic vitamins and minerals.

Can I stack First Response with a multivitamin?

Yes, but you need to review total daily intake of vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, selenium, and copper. This is not a low-dose wellness powder, so stacking should be intentional rather than automatic.

Does this product contain caffeine or stimulants?

The verified active formula does not include caffeine, and its practical use profile is stim-free. It is designed for immune and antioxidant support, not energy or workout stimulation.

When is the best time to take NutraBio First Response?

Any time of day works because there is no stimulant load. Most users do best taking it with a meal or after food, especially because the 3,000mg vitamin C dose can be rough on an empty stomach for sensitive users.

How does this compare to a basic vitamin C and zinc product?

It is more complete and more intelligently balanced. In addition to high-dose vitamin C and zinc, you also get vitamin D3, selenium, NAC, and copper to support glutathione pathways, broader immune function, and proper zinc balance.

Do I need to cycle this product?

No stimulant cycling is needed here. The more important issue is avoiding unnecessary overlap with other high-dose immune formulas so your total zinc, selenium, vitamin D, and vitamin C intake stays within a thoughtful range.

Not all great stereo systems meet all the requirements for connectivity.
I want to go on record, the Onkyo TX-Nr7100 is an awesome choice for a stereo avr. Great connectivity, a warm sound quality, and many options for your audio sound choices. But, because it's base connectivity, as it applies to Bluetooth, I do not recommend to connecting a PC to it. Due to audio and video, data separation. The Onkyo, though an excellent stereo choice, has problems playing Youtube and other types of media, with built in audio and video playback. It defaults to the miniplayer, built into the system and is impossible to get rid of in these situations. I give this product 5 stars on quality and performance, but it was not made to connect to a computer. Stll, I recommend this AVR Stereo Receiver on its aesthetic look, sound, audio and connections and quality. Very important to keep this in mind for Computer and gaming console connection to this system.

Exceptional Home Theater Receiver with HDMI 2.1, Dirac Live & THX – Incredible Value
After researching extensively and using the TX‑NR7100 firsthand with a 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos setup, I’m thoroughly impressed by its blend of features, performance, and value. Setup & Interface The guided setup process is smooth and intuitive—Wi‑Fi setup, firmware updates, speaker configuration and HDMI mapping all work seamlessly. The on-screen menus are clean and accessible, though some deeper options may require a bit of navigation With six HDMI 2.1 inputs and two HDMI 2.1 outputs, this receiver supports 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz video formats, along with VRR, eARC, and ALLM. This makes it ideal for gaming consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series X—performance is solid with no reported signal dropouts on the primary HDMI ports. Audio & Sound Quality Every channel delivers up to ~100 W into 8 Ω, powering immersive content such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X with clarity and presence. THX post-processing adds dimension and scale, especially with cinematic soundtracks. Dirac Live room correction provides musical staging, precise imaging, cleaner dialog, and deeper bass—transformative for untreated or irregular rooms. Streaming & Multi-Room Equipped with AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Bluetooth (including aptX), and Sonos/DTS Play-Fi integration, streaming is flexible and robust. Spotify, Tidal, Pandora, TuneIn, and more are all supported. It even functions as a Roon endpoint with no signal issues when streaming high-res audio over Ethernet. Build & Design The front panel features a large green display, a straightforward volume dial, and basic controls. While the remote is functional, it isn’t backlit. The control app is usable but somewhat basic, making desktop Dirac calibration a better option for fine-tuning. Pros: Cutting-edge HDMI 2.1 support for 8K/60Hz, 4K/120Hz, VRR & eARC THX Certified with immersive Atmos/DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced support Powerful and convincing Dirac Live room correction Versatile streaming ecosystem and smart assistant compatibility Excellent price-to-performance ratio compared to peers Cons: HDMI glitches possible; best addressed via firmware updates and proper setup Remote is not backlit; app UI is basic Not truly expandable to 11-channel systems; no independent sub outs or extra preamp channels Verdict: The Onkyo TX‑NR7100 strikes a remarkable balance between modern video support, superior immersive audio, and intuitive usability—all at a price point that undercuts many similarly spec’d competitors. If you want future‑proof HDMI features, strong gaming performance, Dirac‑based room tuning, and multi‑room streaming options, this AVR delivers beyond expectation. Highly recommended.

Best deal and beautiful sound
I bought this one on sale to replace my old Pioneer VSX-1120-K 7.2 ch receiver which did not support 4K video and new Atmos sound profile. I would say, it was the best deal in this category since it offered 100 watts/ch , 9.2 ch, 8k/4k supported, and nearly 50% price cut when on sale! The sound quality is amazing, especially after using Dirac live to measure and auto adjust all speakers’ sound curves, making my home theater sound in a different level. The high is very clear but not harsh while the low is soft and nice punch. I also like the Onkyo App which helps to control the receiver in many ways. I can use it together with other online music streaming services app without touching the remote controller any more, very convenient! The only a small problem it has, is that it’s BD/DVD HDMI input sometimes does not work well with Amazon fire stick. It makes the firestick restart over again and again, so I have to use the other input such as game input to work smoothly with the firestick. Update: I have had this receiver for more than a year now. I would say, I love it more and more! It not only supports 4K/8k video through HDMI, but also has so many listening sound models to choose from, and the App on smartphone is a very convenient tool. One of my favorite functions of it is the Dirac live function. I used to analyze the sound characteristics of each speaker, and fine tune the frequencies on them, making my home theater speakers up to a very high level, making every single sound frequency is in its best condition. This certainly compensates the shortcomings of certain sound frequencies in each speaker. Many times I just sat in my home theater listening to the music from Spotify without watching movie, and it was so joyful. I am changing the rate from 4 stars to five!

The basic set-up is relatively easy which was a big plus for me......
First let me start off by saying that I am not an audiophile. So, this review will not get into the weeds of the more complex settings this receiver is capable of. For example, the Dirac room measuring option. No way was I attempting to mess with that. Especially, after reading that some reviewers who actually have experience with Dirac found it could be confusing/difficult to set up. Besides I come from a previous Onkyo the TX-SR607 which had the AccuEQ Room Calibration similar to this receiver, so I used that instead with no issues. As far as hooking up the speakers it's pretty straight forward. If you have banana plugs, use them, seriously. I originally planned on using banana plugs but in order to save time I decided against that. But I wish I had taken the extra time to go with bananas because trying to thread the speaker wire into the speaker terminals is tedious, there not much room between the terminals and even me with my skinny fingers struggled a bit. Wish Onkyo designed their terminals side by side, but I think only Denon does that. Anyway, after all the speakers were connected (I'm currently using a 5.1.2 setup) and I connected my tv, Blu-ray player, CD player, etc., etc., I ran the AccuEQ Room Calibration, and I was good to go. I did change the some of the settings like speaker volume that AccuEQ has set but nothing major. I have noticed that I need to turn the volume up much higher on this Onkyo than on my previous one. What I mean by that is that on my previous Onkyo I would set the volume indicator at around 30-35 tops for movies. With this one it's more like 40-45, maybe how the volume is measured is different on this one. The sound is excellent for movies and music I have no complaints there. I have only tried a few of features so far like Airplay but will dig deeper into the manual (I downloaded from the internet) as time goes by. I will say as far as build quality is concerned it's not bad, but IMO my old Onkyo, a 2009 model, had the look and feel of a more expensive receiver. But it's what's inside that matters most so hopefully this one last as long as my previous Onkyo.

Sound unexpectantly blasted for no reason. It malfunctioned!
I spent hours between installation and set up! I had to return it. I turned on NET (network) to play Sirius Xm and the volume was low but after a few minutes the sound turned all the way up to maximum completely on its own? This happened at least two more times. I contacted ONKYO and was told it is clearly defective and that their is no solution to correct the problem, and that I should return it immediately! I purchased the newer model and am pleased with its performance! It’s unfortunate because the first one that had the issue with the sound really played nice, but having sound change its volume so suddenly to its full capacity was not what I expected, nor felt comfortable enough to keep as I said I was told to return it, which I did! My advice here would be to purchase the newer model, which seems to be much more stable in its performance, and the quality is excellent.
