Background - What is Continuous improvement?

This course Manage innovation and continuous improvement (based on BSBMGT608) will help you earn the skills necessary to establish strategies to monitor and evaluate performance and sustainability of key systems and processes.

Our Manage innovation continuous and improvement course is based on the unit of competency of BSBMGT608. Whilst this course is not nationally recognized, it follows the learning outcomes and elements associated with that unit. The course contains

  1. Narrated e-learning learning resources online 
  2. Online Assessment tasks
  3. Ability to download your Certificate of Completion once assessment tasks are completed

What will you learn by completing the training course?

This course will include an understanding of awareness of the relevant legislation and your responsibilities in managing innovation and continuous improvement.

Learning outcomes include:

  1. Identify performance measures, and assessment tools and techniques, and evaluate their effectiveness
  2. Analyse performance reports and variance from plans for key result areas of the organization
  3. Foster creative climate and organisational learning by promoting interaction within and between work groups
  4. Undertake risk management and cost-benefit analysis for each option or idea approved for trial
  5. Address the impact of change and consequences for people and implement transition plans 
  6. Ensure objectives, timeframes, measures and communication plans are in place to manage implementation
  7. Communicate costs and benefits of innovations and improvements to relevant groups and individuals

How Is the Training Delivered?

Manage innovation and continuous improvement course is available online and completed in your own time. This Manage innovation and continuous improvement training course is based on the learning outcomes outlined above.

What Accreditation Will You Get?

For example, ‘employer’ has been used to signify the broader term ‘PCBU’, while ‘WHS’ represents both work and occupational health and safety.

A Certificate of Completion is issued on successful completion of the course and you are required to get an 80% pass mark to be deemed as understanding the content. It is recommended that training is conducted every 2 years to stay refreshed.
