Step-by-step instructions take you through each phase of building this multi-component piece, starting with the chest that features bold, half-blind dovetails throughout the case. Next, comes the frame-and-panel lid where the panel sits proud of the frame. That is followed by the stand with tapered legs, shapely aprons, and lower stretchers that reinforce the structure.

Channeling Voysey’s spirit, Mario built this classic piece in white oak that features authentic detailing. For example, the ogee molding around the frame adds a richness typical of Voysey’s work and the low-luster shellac finish is also typical of original Voysey pieces.
