STRIKE V.3

CATCH LIGHTNING

The 2023 STRIKE V3 is the ultimate performance wing since it was developed using the most recent technologies and has a ground-breaking design. This cutting-edge wing is capable of freeride, freestyle, surfing, and freeflying. The STRIKE V3 offers performance that is unmatched while ensuring ease of use, stability, power, accuracy, longevity, and the capacity to go upwind swiftly and effectively in any wind.

• Revolutionary design for unprecedented performance.

• New HITEX and TECHNOFORCE for increased durability.

• Perfect control of the profile and deformations to guarantee comfort throughout the entire wind range.

• Improved power delivery and planing.

• Impressive upwind performances.

• Legendary lightness and stability in freefly.

• Perfectly balanced center of traction for an intuitive ride.

The R&D team focused on three areas for this third iteration of our signature STRIKE in order to improve performance and durability: the materials, the location of these materials, and the design.

MATERIALS

HITEX 158g and 178g make up the STRIKE V3's inflatable construction. This innovative, high-tenacity polyester is unique to F-ONE and delivers excellent elongation resistance, increasing durability and performance.

Because of the HITEX 158g and its independent valve, which permits better pressure control, the center strut has a smaller diameter. Its longitudinal reinforcements aid in controlling its resistance and form.

HITEX 178g is used for the four middle leading edge segments on either side of the strut, whereas 158g is used for the four outer segments closest to the wingtips. To account for the various stresses, high pressures, and weight distribution in this region, both materials are distributed exactly.

We have also maintained the original narrow leading edge diameter at the wingtips, which adds agility, comfort, and glide in addition to being lighter and having less inertia.

Along with the new HITEX, we have created a thicker TECHNOFORCE™/D2 in 66g for the trailing edge where resistance and stresses are both crucial. The rest of the wing’s canopy is in TECHNOFORCE™/D2 in 52g.

WING DESIGN

We have created a brand-new design using sail engineering; every detail has been carefully planned out to allow the wing's shape to be adjusted to the stresses and new materials.

Each panel of the STRIKE V3 is meticulously built out to support a certain load. The revolutionary radial center panels, which are mapped to precisely follow every load trajectory, are combined with horizontal panels on the front of the wing that are divided from them by a vertical seam. A vertical panel in 66g controls the trailing edge. To disperse stress, small radial incisions are also used on the wingtips and the back of the strut. Stretch may be regulated to a level never before seen on a wing by precisely aligning the fiber along the load lines. Thanks to this precise load management, the wind range of the STRIKE is extended at both the high and low end, and the range of wind strengths where the wing feels perfect is greater than ever before.

The fabric and its seams perform better with our staggered seams to maintain a clean and effective profile, and the flying shape of the wing never deforms under load. In the top end, where stability is excellent to ride completely balanced on both arms and in complete comfort, the control of the profile is optimum.

The revised radial cuts and trailing edge tensions have greatly improved performance. Our unique Load Diffuser, which is mounted on the back of the strut and is formed of overlapping panels of strong Mylar and Dacron, contributes to keeping the profile efficient and slim while ensuring the highest levels of stability, performance, and longevity.

Every piece of reinforcement on this wing has been examined for durability and weight reduction.

We were able to achieve a flatter dihedral angle and a larger projected area thanks to the STRIKE V3's unmatched stability. For planing starts, the power and pumping capabilities are consequently considerably better. Riders can now use a smaller wing or board than they previously could.

The STRIKE V3 is simpler to pump and ride thanks to an updated and marginally more compact shape with less spread. To ensure perfect balance on both arms, the center of traction has been located precisely in front of the rider.

All profiles have been updated to take into account our new parameters. To increase comfort and control in heavy gusts, we were able to slightly reduce the V3's profile thickness. The STRIKE V3's high-end potential is astounding, and its strong forward traction prevents you from exerting yourself to the point of exhaustion even when you are outmatched.

HANDLES

We have stiffened our handles while maintaining their original, lightweight construction, which doesn't feature any harsh pieces that could harm your wing, dent your board, or cause you to hit yourself. This will further enhance and maximize the rider's control of the wing. Your wrist will always be in line with your arm thanks to the flexibility of our gripping, ergonomic, and pleasant handles.

Additionally, it allowed us to create the strut exactly how we wanted. Its front descends abruptly onto your forehand before rising into the wing's profile close to your back hand. A more natural position to sheet in results from this.

PERFORMANCE AND CONTROL

The STRIKE V3 is an aerodynamic masterpiece due to its innovative design and thoughtful fabric arrangement. The excellent control of the profile ensures experiences to remember.

We maintained the STRIKE's lightweight design and distinctive freefly stability so you can enjoy lengthy downwinds or surfs without worrying about your wing and concentrate on your foil and direction.

Its renowned planning and pumping power is even more effective in your hands. The upwind capabilities are remarkable and have very consistent traction when used on the water. The overall upwind performance of this wing is significantly improved across the whole wind range.

The STRIKE V3 will provide performance and stability if you enjoy gliding and moving quickly in complete control and comfort. You'll be surprised by the height and lift for freestyle and jumping, and all landings will be simpler.

The V3, which is practically a completely new wing, improves on the V2 in every way and takes a wing's performance to new heights. While it will undoubtedly delight expert riders, the STRIKE is also quite approachable for anyone looking to learn about wing foiling.

The STRIKE V3 is unmatched and once again in the lead. Choose the V3 option first!

The 1st one is better than this one but I still love it
Format: Kindle
The Mistake is the second book in Elle Kennedy’s Off-Campus series, following a new couple while maintaining the humor, steamy romance, and emotional depth that made The Deal so popular. This installment focuses on Logan, Garrett’s best friend and fellow hockey player, and Grace, a quiet but strong-willed freshman, as they navigate second chances and personal growth. John Logan – Logan is charming, funny, and a ladies' man, but beneath his confident exterior, he struggles with deep-seated family issues and a sense of being trapped by his circumstances. His development throughout the book makes him more than just the stereotypical player. Grace Ivers – A freshman who starts off shy but proves to be independent and assertive. She isn’t easily won over, and her ability to stand her ground makes her a refreshing and likable heroine. Familiar faces from The Deal, including Garrett and Hannah, return, while new side characters add to the college setting’s energy and humor. Kennedy’s writing is engaging, with a mix of humor, emotional moments, and steamy romance. The alternating perspectives between Logan and Grace allow for a well-rounded view of their relationship and personal struggles. The book delivers plenty of humor and flirty banter while also tackling deeper themes of family responsibility, self-worth, and making tough life choices. The chemistry between Logan and Grace is strong, and their romance is a blend of fun, tension, and genuine emotional connection. Strengths ✔ Strong Character Growth – Both Logan and Grace undergo realistic, satisfying development. ✔ Second-Chance Romance Done Right – Logan’s journey to making up for his mistake feels earned, and Grace doesn’t immediately forgive him, which adds authenticity. ✔ Engaging Writing & Humor – The witty dialogue and college setting keep the story entertaining. ✔ Balanced Romance & Personal Struggles – The love story is front and center, but each character also has their own challenges to overcome. The Mistake is a fun, emotional, and steamy addition to the Off-Campus series. While it follows a familiar formula, the engaging characters and well-paced romance make it a standout. Fans of The Deal and other college sports romances like The Chase by Elle Kennedy or The Score (book 3 in the series) will love this one.

I loved everything about The Deal by Elle Kennedy!
Format: Kindle
I have been a huge fan of Elle Kennedy’s writing for years. I loved her Out of Uniform series and Killer Instincts series. Her After Hours series is sizzling hot. She has a way of bringing her characters to life and making them demand your absolute attention. Her books have a combination of witty dialogue, dynamic characters, a well developed plot, and pacing that keeps the reader enthralled. Most of her books have either been erotic romance or romantic suspense. I was wondering how she would pull off a New Adult romance. New Adult romance is a generalized genre that can contain sweet & sexy, dark & intense, angsty & anxious, or exciting & erotic. The Deal has all of these elements and more. It is one of the most enjoyable and entertaining New Adult romances that I have read. I connected with the main characters as well as the secondary characters. They were all larger than life in their own way. The one thing that stood out besides the main characters romance was Elle’s portrayal of college life. She portrayed a very realistic look at life on the college campus and how it relates to their courses as well as social life. Garrett Graham is the bad boy of the college hockey team. He makes panties melt and owns his man whore reputation with relish. He has an overinflated ego that matches his cocky attitude. He is a star player and lives for playing hockey. He is diligent with his grades, practices, and performance. When he fails his philosophy mid term, it could not only ruin his GPA, it will affect his position on the team. He could lose the one thing he lives for. He is going to have to retake his philosophy mid term and ace it in order to remain on the team. He needs help. Who better to help him than one of the few students that managed not only to pass the mid term but ace it. He never really noticed Hannah Wells before until she accidentally dropped her exam and he saw her A. Now he is on a mission to get Hannah to tutor him. He will try to bribe her, entice her, and woo her. When he discovers the golden carrot that will make her give in, he will dangle it in every way he can. His life is counting on that golden carrot. Hannah Wells is a music major. She is a pretty confident and outgoing girl with her friends and peers. She is smart, personable, and resilient. She is dedicated to her craft. The one area she lacks in is her confidence with the opposite sex. She has finally found a guy that she is interested in and she has no clue how to deal with her attraction. Not only is he out of her league, he is also the star quarterback on the football team. Not the type of guy she would normally take an in interest in. She has had some very bad experiences with the opposite sex. Although she has mostly overcome her issues, she is still a bit leery and scared. If she can get past her fears, she may be able to approach him. When the ego maniac sex god, Garrett Grant, approaches her to tutor him in philosophy, she thinks he is out of his ever loving mind. There is no way she is going to tutor the self absorbed jock. That is until he finds out her ultimate weakness and offers her a guaranteed solution. His persistence and golden carrot are enough to make her cave. It’s time to make a deal with the Devil. Hannah and Garrett are in for some big surprises. They are both quite different than they appear on the surface. Hannah may have the upper hand when the tutoring begins but Garrett will quickly take control of the situation. Both will be in for a great learning experience. Both will come out winners in the end. Their Deal will seal both their fates. I loved the banter between Garrett and Hannah. The snarky sarcasm, witty comebacks, and dirty talking are beyond clever and entertaining. The heated bedroom scenes make your temperature burn out of control. The emotional and intimate moments will have you swooning. What I loved best is how they formed a deep respect and friendship with one another. They were able to honestly confide in one another and know that their trust was not misplaced. I loved everything about this book! Read The Deal by Elle Kennedy. I am looking forward to the next book in the Off-Campus series. The Mistake will release in June of 2015. It is a complete mystery of who this book will feature or what their story is about.

A Beloved College Romance That Earns Its Hype.
Format: Kindle, Format: Kindle
The Deal by Elle Kennedy is a college romance that fully delivers on its reputation. With engaging characters, steady emotional growth, and a relationship that develops naturally, it’s easy to see why this book remains so popular. The story follows Hannah Wells, a focused and reserved music student, and Garrett Graham, the confident captain of the college hockey team whose academic struggles threaten his future. When their paths cross through an unexpected agreement, a friendship begins that gradually deepens into something more meaningful. One of the book’s greatest strengths is its pacing. The relationship doesn’t rush or rely on instant attraction alone. Instead, it builds through shared experiences, honest conversations, and growing trust. This approach makes the connection between the characters feel believable and emotionally grounded. Both Hannah and Garrett face personal challenges that shape their decisions and growth throughout the story. These elements add depth without overwhelming the romance, keeping the focus on character development and mutual support. The dialogue is lively, the humour is well-placed, and the emotional moments are balanced with lighter scenes that keep the story moving. While some plot elements may feel familiar to readers of the genre, the overall execution is strong. The conflicts fit naturally within the story, and the resolution is satisfying without feeling overextended. The Deal is an enjoyable, well-written romance that blends heart, humour, and character-driven storytelling. A solid choice for readers who enjoy college settings, slow-burn relationships, and emotionally engaging narratives.

Hot, Sweet, and Real
Format: Kindle
First I love a hockey romance! Add in fake dating, he falls first, and shared trauma and you have me hooked! This has been on my TBR longer than I want to admit! With the show that came out I wanted to read this first and it did not disappoint! I loved it! Garret and Hannah together crack me up and are so cute! This book had sad, funny, serious, and spicy moments! Highly recommend! The audiobook voice actors did a good job! I would recommend reading the trigger warning page this book does talk about some issues/trama that can be triggering.

Making my love for hockey (and the players) stronger
Format: Kindle
She manages to create such realistic characters that readers can’t help fall in love with. The Deal is no. exception to that. This book is actually our first introduction to her amazing world of obscenely attractive and crazy talented hockey players at Briar University. Wasting no time, we get straight to the wonderful and hot captain, Garrett Graham. Garrett is a history major in his third year at Briar. Here is where Ms. Kennedy does something different, in shows, movies, and books we often see teachers and professors cutting slack for athletes especially ones that are currently in season. Yeah no, that’s not the case at Briar. Enter: Hannah Wells. If I am being technical, we start of in her perspective however I’m in love with Garrett, so we ignore that. The two of them are taking some sort of philosophical ethics course and when the story kicks off, they are getting their midterms back. You ever have that teacher that literally has either way two high of standards, can’t teach or both? I don’t know what the case is in this situation, but the majority of the class bombs that midterm, except for Hannah (and a few other students). Garrett is among those who failed however he is majorly screwed because if he doesn’t ace this makeup, he is no longer academically eligible for sports. After literally bumping into Hannah on his way out of the lecture hall, he sees her grade and decides that this girl will be his tutor and he won’t take no for an answer. He is relentless in his pursuit of her tutoring him that he goes so far as showing up at her work to beg. Finally, he finds the one thing he can offer to make her say yes: a fake date to catch another guy’s attention. Yeah, that fun cliché. She agrees to tutor him only through the retake because she is too focused on her winter showcase for the music department to tutor him all semester. Predictably speaking, that whole fake dating thing, yeah that backfires. I wonder sometimes if it ever works in any way other than making one of the two people realize they have feelings for each other. Believe it or not though my favorite part of the book wasn’t the romance aspects of it. Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed that don’t get me wrong. It was the way that Hannah and Garrett actually became friends and spent time together as friends outside of studying and trying to get her crush’s attention. They binged Breaking bad, watched stupid documentaries and she hung out with the rest of the team celebrating one of their birthdays. This is something that in my opinion gets missed a lot in romance is that if two people are friends and fake dating, we want to see them actually being friends and not just a couple. Her characters are also so real. Like yes there’s no way this many perfect men exist for her to write 9 books about the hockey players that come through Briar. But that’s not what I mean, I mean her characters have substance to them, they have this wonderful thing that we all as real people have: past traumas. That being said, if you are a person that gets triggered by characters having been abused or sexually assaulted in the past, please consider this your trigger warning. This did all happen prior to the books first page so what we see is the aftermath of the traumas and not the actual events taking place if that makes any difference. If that is you, I would urge you to reconsider reading the story and the rest of this review because I do intend on discussing a little bit of what happens with those situations and how Garrett and Hannah chose to respond to them. Consider this also your spoiler alert as well. When Hannah was 15, she went to a party with friends. At this party she was drugged and raped. Now, roughly 6 years later, we see how this has affected her. She refuses to drink if she is not alone and has some problems with intimacy. The cool thing though is that she uses her friendship with Garrett to help her slowly work through these problems. Once he relatively knows what her hang ups are Garrett never once pressures her or belittles her for them only helping her to slowly move past them in any way he can even if it means he plays the “bodyguard” for a night out with their friends so she can drink and not feel scared. And of course, because this is a romance novel and those two are clearly meant to be he also helps her work through her problems with sex in such a slow and patient way that, in combination with everything else we’ve seen from him, makes all the sense in the world why he is loved not only by her (though she is too dumb to admit it till later) and by all of us as readers. Garrett’s past is not all sunshine and roses either. Son of a former NHL superstar, he had to watch his mother slowly die of cancer and watch as his father’s anger was directed in the form of physical violence at his mother, and later at him. Garrett was routinely abused by his father for years until he learned to hit back, no one saw any warning signs or stepped in ever. All they saw was a retired famous athlete and his equally athletically gifted son. Hannah is the first person he ever felt comfortable opening up to about this and is there for him as a place of support when he is essentially forced to spend thanksgiving with his father and his new girlfriend. She does whatever she can to support him and to remind him that no matter who your parents are, it doesn’t determine who you will be when you are older. This is such an important message that honestly everyone needs to hear as do many of the other men in this series just for different reasons than Garrett. This book is honestly in my opinion perfect, and I don’t think I’ve stopped recommending it to people since the first time I finished it.
