If you’re looking for a centerpiece that commands attention while delivering tender, clean beef flavor with every slice, the O’Connor Australian Angus Tomahawk is your perfect match. Sourced from O’Connor Family Farms in Australia. this ribeye-on-the-bone offers a beautifully balanced eating experience—ideal for those who appreciate quality marbling without excess heaviness.

Why You’ll Love It

  • O’Connor Family Farms Quality: Born, raised, and finished on family-owned pastures, O’Connor is known for their ethical, sustainable, and fully integrated supply chain—from paddock to plate.

  • Angus Genetics: Pure Angus breeding delivers consistent tendernessfine marbling, and a clean, buttery beef flavor that’s never gamey.

  • Perfect 1–1.2kg Size: Smaller and more manageable than heavier tomahawks, this portion is ideal for 2–3 people or a lavish dinner for two—no oversized leftovers, just the right amount of wow.

  • Bone-In Flavor: The long rib bone acts as a natural heat conductor, keeping the meat juicy while adding depth to every bite.

  • Unseasoned & Customizable: You control the flavor. Will you keep it classic with flaky salt and cracked pepper, or build an herb-and-garlic crust? A simple dry brine overnight will amplify the beef’s natural sweetness.

Not Sure How to Cook It?

  • Bring to Room Temperature: Remove from the fridge 45–60 minutes before cooking for even heat distribution.

  • Choose Your Method:

    • Hot-and-Fast (Grill): Sear over direct high heat for 2–3 minutes per side to develop a dark crust, then move to indirect heat until done.

    • Reverse Sear (Oven + Pan): Roast at 120°C (250°F) until the internal temperature reaches 45°C (113°F) , then sear in a screaming-hot cast iron pan for 60–90 seconds per side.

  • Temperature Guide (Use a meat thermometer):

    • Medium-Rare: 52–54°C (125–129°F) – ideal for Angus tenderness

    • Medium: 57–60°C (135–140°F) – still juicy with a firmer bite

  • Resting: Rest for 8–10 minutes loosely covered with foil. This step is non-negotiable for a juicy tomahawk.

Pro Tip

This tomahawk’s smaller size (1–1.5kg) means it cooks faster than larger 2kg+ versions. Adjust your timing accordingly—start checking the internal temperature 5–10 minutes earlier than you think you need. Pair with chimichurri or a red wine jus.

Perfect for: Eid celebrationsRamadan gatheringsweekend barbecues, or any occasion where you want premium beef without the heavyweight price or portion.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

ABSOLUTELY A MUST for Omegaverse Girls!!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Jillian West and her books!!! I’m so happy I already bought book two and now I have to buy the others for the Assurance Security series!! Not gonna lie Val kind of annoyed me at the beginning but she grew on me!! Her men are chef’s kisses!!! Holt annoys me some but I can let it slide. I already bought part two so I’m going to be reading that in between work phone calls!!!! DON’T TELL MY BOSS 😂😂😂😂

Baby bumps and bodyguards
Format: Kindle
Dark, emotional, and unexpectedly tender, Not Ready is an omegaverse romance that delivers found family feels, fierce protectiveness, and a very pregnant heroine who refuses to break. Vale’s on the run from a stalker, but lands in the arms of three private security alphas, cue the swoony tension, fake marriage twist, and slow-burn heat. It’s a little gritty, a little soft, and a whole lot addictive. If you love protective alphas, high stakes, and heroines with quiet strength, this one’s a must-read.

Strong Omegaverse Comfort and a Attention Grabbing Plot
Format: Kindle
Jillian West never misses when it comes to Omegaverse, and Not Ready is no exception. This story was the perfect blend of cozy comfort and emotional depth while still delivering a strong plot. Vale is such a powerful heroine, she is strong, capable, and determined but I love that she still allows her pack to love and take care of her. It’s that balance of independence and vulnerability that makes her so relatable. The relationship dynamics were amazing: Bishop is steadfast and completely head over heels, Mercy is skeptical but protective in his own way, and Holt is the hesitant one whose slow fall is so satisfying to watch unfold. The romance hits that sweet spot between insta-love and cautious build, keeping me hooked the entire way through. And that ending. Oh my god, the cliffhanger! I need the next book in this duet immediately.
