Tasting Notes for Old Forester Rye
Prominent aromas of fresh grain, rye spice and golden raisins lead to a more rich, rounded palate than expected from a rye. Notes of baking spices, butterscotch and dried fruit with a long, smoothly spiced finish.
Suggested Serves
A strong yet versatile base spirit for cocktails. Use in place of bourbon in an Old Fashioned. Also stands up well in a Boulevardier or Manhattan.

Distilled from a high rye mash bill. aged in new, charred American oak barrels for a bolder, richer style of rye.
