HOW TO MEASURE YOUR CURTAINS

Measuring for the length:

Measure from the top of the curtain rod to the place where you wish to see the bottom of your curtain.

Measuring for the width:

The basic approach recommends multiplying the width of the window by 1.5, allowing a little gathering, so the curtain looks fuller.


WASHING/CARING TIPS
- gentle washing: use a delicate cycle with cold water.
- air drying.
- ironing with caution: turn the curtains inside out and use low heat. Place a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric to prevent direct contact. Using a steamer will make it easy to relax the fabric and release wrinkles.
- regular dusting: use a soft brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner or a lint roller to remove dust from velvet curtains regularly

This "valet" organizer, which is the first time I've heard that term for a product like this, is nearly perfect. I would have preferred the pad be built into the piece, however the angle of it does make it easy to grab opposed to using your finger(s) to pry it up.

I'm initially impressed with this valet tray. I purchased two for my husband: one for his nightstand and one for his dresser, as he likes to keep things organized.
