The stained glass figures in this Hanukkah menorah are hand cut, wrapped in metal and soldered together as arms and legs are added. Their arms hold the shields of armor with the Star of David. Wire detail is added last for the clothing design, the hair, and the sandals of the warriors. The figures are attached to the glass base and then the zinc rod with the candle holders is added. The nine candle holders are for the eight days of Hanukkah and the shammos candle that lights the other candles each night of the holiday.
