It has a hardwearing 1680 denier outer in a canvas look, 160g fibre fill, and is lined with artificial rabbit fur for extra comfort and warmth.
The high tenacity polyester outer is super-strong, durable and dirt-repellent, with a PU waterproof coating (ISO 10,000mm) to keep your horse dry.
This middleweight turnout rug has 160g PES fibre fill, which is made up of multiple layers to provide both warmth and breathability, as it allows the air to circulate.
The upper part of the inside is lined with Kentucky's signature faux rabbit fur. This is extra-soft against your horse's skin and helps to prevent rubbing or chafing, even on sensitive-skinned horses. It also works as an extra layer of warmth as it creates tiny air pockets to hold your horse's body heat.
The rug is anatomically shaped and has no back seam to avoid the risk of leakage in wet weather. The artificial rabbit fur helps the rug to stay in the correct position, even after rolling.
It fastens with a hook and loop closure with two front clasps, and two cross-surcingles made from seatbelt webbing fabric. The bungee cord under the tail is covered in plastic for ease of cleaning, while a tail flap offers extra protection and warmth.
The fastenings are all trimmed with brown artificial leather, and the matching piping around the rug adds an elegant finish.
Please note, this rug is sold without a neck cover, which can be purchased separately.
This turnout rug can be machine washed at 30 degrees. Kentucky recommend that a fluor carbon reproofing treatment is used after every fifth wash to maintain the waterproofing.
The Kentucky Pro All Weather Turnout Rug 160g is available in Khaki, in sizes 5ft 9in to 7ft.
