Certain Fender guitars feature a unique tone circuit known as the Delta Tone system. This system includes a high-output bridge pickup and a special “no-load” tone control for the middle and bridge pickups. The Delta Tone pot has a detent at the 10 position, completely bypassing any filtration through capacitors. Unlike the TBX tone control, which has a detent at 5 and gradually reduces capacitor filtration, the Delta Tone’s no-load function removes all filtration at the detent, delivering a more direct and unfiltered pickup signal.
