    -- Testimonials from April 2023 students --

"This class was honestly life-changing for me. I was inspired to take it because I'm working through The Artists Way and some magical synchronicities happened, and I am so grateful for the space you cultivated. Your willingness to share openly about yourself, your thoughts, your music enabled me to create openly and I'm really proud of what I was able to make. Thank you!"

"I found Chris' lectures, Q&A's, stories, and ideas very valuable and enjoyable. I've watched the recordings from the alternate class each day, that's how much I enjoyed it. I appreciated how Chris conveys topics for people of any background, like "this is how it sounds, and this is the theory behind it if you care about that" Chris responded considerately and helpfully to every student who shared homework feedback or asked a question, which I also appreciated even as an observer. This was my first experience writing lyrics and prior to the workshop I was convinced I could not do it. The quick free-writing prompts really helped me get over the hurdle and now I have written four songs I am proud of. This workshop lit up something within me and I'm grateful for the experience."

    Great weird horror
    Format: Kindle
The Department of Truth: The End of the World is the first trade volume of this series, collecting issues 1-5. I don’t want to get into spoilers, but I enjoyed seeing a world building element I was familiar with in fantasy be applied to conspiracy theories. I also loved the art. It’s really stunning! I almost want to buy a print edition in addition to my Kindle/ComiXology edition because it’s so beautiful. I found the plot and concept compelling and can’t wait to read volume 2.

    meh...
    Format: Paperback
collecting the entire universe, so obviously i picked this up. i absolutely LOVE the stuff written by Ryan Parrott, but it seems like the some of the side stories were just thrown into the universe for the sake of 'diversity'. identity politics is injected into BOTH of the books in this series (that i have read so far... im somewhere in the middle of year two) that were written by Melissa Flores, for no reason except projection, propaganda and forced diversity quotas. the book isnt even an extreme offender or anything, but the 'community' has caused so many problems, in ever facet of society that they have attached themselves to, that i (and so many others) now see any of it as huge red flag... and that is sad, because i was raised to have the EXACT opposite viewpoint, and i did, for well over 30 years (just turned 40).
