The neck of this guitar is constructed with multi-ply maple, featuring a wide thin neck shape that allows for comfortable playing. It has 24 frets on a 25" scale length, a neck depth of 13/16" at the nut, a fretboard width of 1 11/16" at the nut, and 2 1/4" at the body. The rosewood fretboard has a 10" radius and is adorned with the signature PRS bird inlays. The headstock features the recognizable "SE" logo.

The solidbody construction of the PRS SE Custom 24 includes a mahogany back and a maple top carved with a shallow violin design.
