Slaapklets voor kleuters is een boek om de dag rustig en gezellig af te sluiten. Met behulp van plaatjes en vragen kunnen ouder en kind samen de dag doornemen. Wat is er allemaal gebeurd en hoe voelde dat? Het biedt ouders de kans in de belevingswereld van hun kleuter te duiken en voor kinderen is het fijn een moment de volle aandacht van mama of papa te ontvangen.

Iedere linker pagina bevat dezelfde plaatjes: kies één of meer situaties en laat je kind vertellen. ‘Heb je vandaag gedanst? Buiten gespeeld of een werkje gedaan? Werd je daar blij van, of misschien verdrietig of boos?’ De rechter pagina is steeds anders: een kort spelletje, een of twee kletsvragen en een rustige afsluiter, zoals minimassages.
