Proefnotitie

De wijn heeft een heldere goudgele kleur. In de neus fruitige aroma's zoals Steenfruit, rijpe gele appel, vleugje citrus en kruidig. De smaak is mollig met frisse zuren. Smaken van rijp geel fruit, perzik en abrikoos komen naar boven.

Vinificatie

De oogst gebeurt manueel waardoor een selectie van gezonde druiven wordt verkregen. De druiven worden direct na de oogst ontritst om harde tannines in de wijn te vermijden en ondergaan een schilweking voor het gistingsproces om meer kleur en smaak uit de druiven te verkrijgen. De wijn wordt vergist bij lage temperatuur, waardoor er meer tijd is voor het ontwikkelen van geur- en aromastoffen. Het rijpen van de wijn duurt van oktober tot begin mei en gebeurt op inox.

Very durable! I noticed earlier this spring that mine was starting to rip after several strong spring wind storms. I knew I had had it for several years but I wasn’t sure how long. Note that it stays outside on the deck all year round, and that includes during Northeast US winters with frigid temperatures and snow and I only now started to see the tears in it this spring. The tear started at the top of the grill, and actually started falling apart more after I touched it. Refer to the attached photos of mine after 6 years. I think it’s very durable for sitting outside for 6 years and only now only starting to show wear . You can also see how it didn’t really fade despite getting full afternoon sunlight. The velcro ties at the bottom,are also a plus as far as getting it to stay in place and not blow off. That’s why I definitely just repurchased the same one. Hopefully, I will get at least 6 years out of the new one when it arrives tomorrow.
