In 1977 werd het wijnhuis Bellavista opgericht door een rijke industrieel uit Brescia, Vittorio Moretti, die de grote mogelijkheden in dit wijngebied zag. Inmiddels beschikt dit wijnhuis over 117 hectare eigen wijngaarden, die grotendeels beplant zijn met de druivenrassen voor de mousserende wijnen: Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco en Pinot Nero. Alle druiven worden met de hand geplukt en verwerkt. Alle mousserende wijnen worden op dezelfde manier gemaakt als Champagne. Dat wil zeggen dat er gebruik wordt gemaakt van oude houten persen. Veertig procent wordt opgevoed in eiken vaten. Mattia Vezzola is de wijnmaker en die heeft het talent om de bijzondere ideeën van Moretti te verwezenlijken. Hij bezit kwaliteit waarmee hij wijnen maakt die uitblinken in pure concentratie, zonder dat het ten koste gaat van de elegantie.Zeven maanden houtrijping voor de Bellavista Brut Franciacorta La Scala
De Gran Cuvée krijgt extra complexiteit en diepte door een gisting van een derde deel van de druiven op eikenhouten vaten. In maart van het jaar na de oogst wordt alle wijn weer bij elkaar gevoegd en gaat de wijn op fles om zijn belletjes te ontwikkelen. Pas drie jaar later is de rijping van de wijn helemaal voltooid. De wijn rijpt zeven maanden in kleine eikenhouten vaten. Een schitterende mousserende wijn, met in de geur tonen van noten, meidoorn, laurier en hints van citrusvruchten en gesuikerde amandelen. In de mond is deze wijn droog, elegant en een perfecte balans tussen frisheid en zachtheid. Hij heeft lengte en complexiteit en is heerlijk mondvullend. Recognizing the Hearts that Burn Within Us
Format: Paperback
Yes, Theo of Golden does, at times, border on the melodramatic and the sentimental. It can be repetitive. It can take an awfully long time to make its point. And yet, the novel speaks very significantly of the need for love, compassion, generosity and forgiveness---in a world that is not always kind, in a world where many of us carry secret burdens---where sadness (mixed with intermittent joy) might be viewed as a universal human affliction.
Theo of Golden is, overall, a book of glad tidings. An end with a future. Thoughtfully, warmly and intelligently written. A novel that often addresses the beauty of Art, most notably painting and music. A novel in which I learned what a fado is. In fact, I learned a lot from this novel.
Unlike some readers, I did not see the book as misogynistic or xenophobic. I didn't necessarily see it as "Christian fiction"---unless you mean doing good, striving for strength of spirit and understanding the connection between "the ultimate and the proximate, the wide grace and the narrow way."
Finally, I don't view the novel's conclusion as disappointing, but simply as falling action and resolution. It is, after all, a very traditionally structured work.
Kudos to the author Allen Levi for having written an initially self-published book that was later picked up by a major publishing house. That is, indeed, a rarity.

Sparkle easy tarpaper towels gets the job done

Performs as described. Not as durable as Bounty but is worth the money. It is soft. Appearance is noted with a design. The quantity is appropriate for each roll and for the price. I use for clean ups in the kitchen, light spills and clean ups. Would buy again. Have purchased many many times. Reliable and consistent company the towel tear off easily every 8” which is a great way to avoid waste especially when cooking.

I'm going back to Sparkle

I used to buy Sparkle years ago , it was the only brand I bought, but I stopped because they were lower quality than names like Bounty.
Recently, before payday I ran out of paper towels and bought this pack before payday so I didn't have to shell out $25 for paper towels.
Sparkle i can honestly say has improved immensely in quality, yet still staying reasonably priced.
I noticed as soon as I opened one roll it was better quality. They are stronger, much stronger than they used to be.
No loose lint like they used to have. They are a bit stiffer in feel compared to Bounty, but still feel soft.
Cleaning is the real test for me. The old Sparkle shredded apart as soon as I wet the towel to clean.
The new Sparkle is amazing. Gotta say I like it better than Bounty. I used it to clean the bathroom and the towels held up extremely well with being water soaked, used to scrub
(friction & pulling). They don't feel thick which i like.
Reusable? I'd dunk the towel in water, scrub then rinse the towel and wipe and it held up .
Sparkle has improved and won me over!

Great value.
