The Korg Wavestation, introduced in 1990, is a groundbreaking digital synthesiser renowned for its innovative synthesis methods and rich, evolving sounds. Developed by a team including Dave Smith—creator of the Sequential Circuits Prophet-5—the Wavestation built upon concepts from the Prophet VS, notably vector synthesis, and introduced a novel feature called Wave Sequencing.

Condition:

• This is a used unit. 
  
  
• Physically this unit is in good condition for its age. It shows some general wear from use and age like some nicks, scratches and marks. The keys have turned a light cream colour. Overall it is still a very nice vintage piece. Please see all photos for further details.
  
  
• All switches, and controls function as they should. The only thing to note is that the backlight on the screen no longer works. 
  
  
• This Wavestation has recently been serviced. Every tact switch has been replaced and a brand new memory battery has been installed. 
  
  
• Please be aware, this unit is 100V. This means you MUST connect it to the correct step-down transformer before powering it on. If you are unsure about this feel free to send us a message as we would be glad to help you source the correct item. We also have some for sale HERE.
  
  
• The use of a step-down transformer may also apply to international buyers as well. Please ask if you are unsure so we can help you source the correct item. 
  
  
• This sale is for the Wavestation and a Japanese IEC to use with your step-down only. Nothing else is included in this sale.
