What sets the 99-009 apart is Freud’s patented Quadra-Cut™ design. Unlike standard two-cutter bits, this advanced geometry employs four cutting edges—two large cutters that shear upward to remove the bulk of the material, and two smaller cutters that shear downward to trim the edge. This opposing shear action eliminates fuzz and tear-out, leaving an extra-fine finish that requires little to no sanding.
