Power-Tec Shunting Clamp 280mm 92649C clamp welding pliers, designed to be used as a shunting clamp to provide a current path between two panels that have been coated with a non conductive corrosion resistant coating during the spot welding process (STRSW). By carrying the current through the clamp and around the panels, the corrosion resistant coating does not have to be removed on the inner surfaces of the spot weld, creating a stronger and longer lasting weld.
