The 5000 Series T3 Replacement Rings feature a robust heat-treated cast iron construction, delivering unparalleled strength for a braking solution that stands up to intense use. With a precision-engineered bi-slotted design, these replacement rings not only exemplify visual sophistication but also ensure efficient heat dissipation. The slots play a crucial role in expelling debris and gases, promoting consistent braking performance and extending the lifespan of your brake pads. The result is a braking system that remains cool under pressure, offering a level of reliability that goes beyond the ordinary.
DBA’s 5000 Series direct replacement rotors are offered in two options: complete assemblies, where the hat and rings are bolted together for straightforward replacement, or as individual replacement parts, allowing for the replacement of hats or rings as needed.
The option to replace only the cast iron rotor rings, while keeping their previously used aluminium hats is not only cost effective for those that are hard on brakes, but it allows for easy replacement of DBA hats or rings.
We recommend that aluminium hats should always be thoroughly inspected for damage and wear when only replacing the 5000 Series rings, along with the use of DBA spec bolts and nuts. When tightening the NAS nut and bolt assembly a 13 Nm or 9.6 ft lb of torque is recommended.
