Material: 1/4" natural birch wood/light wood 

Finish: Natural or various paints or stains

• The natural option comes ready for you to stain, clear, or paint
• For natural and stained options - the sides will always be dark
  
• For paint, you can choose between top painted only or tops and sides (additional $10-$25)
• The increased expense for painting the sides is attributed to the need for priming, increased labor, and a greater quantity of paint.

Design: 12 font options available | Last name up to 25 characters

• Please type exactly how you want your script (Capital first letter or all lowercase - font J and K are always Capital)
  
• "The" will always be on top of the last name. If you would like The and the last name in one line, order here. 
• Our designer will choose the placement of the word "The" based on the name, font and size to ensure stability of the sign. If you have a preference please specify.

Size: 6 sizes available | 12 wide - 44" wide - height varies with fonts and length of last name

• Please note, font C, D E, G and H will be much taller than A, B, F, I and J. Size is based on width*** (see below for sizing recommendations).
• Large/focal point sizing:
• We recommend 18"-30" for fonts C, D, E, H and 30-44" for fonts A, B, F, G, I , J , K. If you aren't sure, its safe to go with 30"w. The longer the name, the bigger you need to go if you want this to be your focal point.
• After you purchase, we can send you a proof with sizing and at that time you can switch the font or size if requested.
• On screen proofs are not sent unless requested at time of order. You can request to see up to 3 fonts. A fee will apply for more than 3 fonts. A proof of all fonts cost $15 additional.

How to Hang / Display: Our floating scripts can sit on a shelf, hang with command strips or rest on finishing nails. Hardware not included.
