The Maxon RCP660 Real Compressor is a tube-driven compression pedal that delivers natural, studio-quality compression with minimal tone coloration, suitable for both guitar and bass applications. Its control set includes Master for output volume, Sensitivity to adjust the input level at which compression activates, Attack to shape the pick attack intensity, and Sustain to control the compression's duration and intensity. Additionally, the RCP660 features a foot-switchable Boost function, offering an extra 13dB of gain for seamless transitions between rhythm and lead playing or for use as a clean boost. The pedal's design incorporates a real vacuum tube, contributing to its warm and dynamic response.
