ENGLISH DESCRIPTION Carlota went from a fairy tale into hell. This is the story of that hell. The empress went back to being a princess. After her husband was shot on the Hill of the Bells, the spoiled young wife became a pariah among the European monarchs and spent the next sixty years deranged. This work is the first that focuses on the six decades that Carlota of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha lived after the fall of the Second Mexican Empire, and offers a lucid study of one of the most fascinating people in Mexican history. In this book, we see the diaries of Carlota's physicians, the papers of Adrien Goffinet (manager of her assets), testimonies from those years, royal archives, letters from her servants, travelers' logs, and the European press from the time. Step by step, we see how "the saddest princess in the world" wound up as a pawn. And how, out of the fallout of Maximilian's Mexico came the private empire of the Belgian King Leopold II in the Congo.Shipping Notes

Great nude shoe!
Size: 10, Color: Nude
Perfect nude dressy heal. Was not uncomfortable at all. I thought my toes would be sliding out. I did put grips on the bottoms because they are a tiny bit slippery and I am prone to falling. Cute and didn’t distract from my dress.

Only wear for short distances
Size: 8, Color: Nude
These heeled sandals were very cute and flattering. After a couple minutes of walking, my feet began to hurt. I got blisters upon removal. A few days later I tried wearing them again, it is still extremely painful. Great for pictures though!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Comfort, Style, and Performance — Perfect for Daily Runs and All-Day Wear!
Size: 11, Color: Black/Dark Smoke Grey
I purchased the Nike Men’s Quest 6 for my son, and he’s been absolutely thrilled with them. From the moment he put them on, he noticed how lightweight and supportive they felt — a great balance between cushioning and responsiveness.
He wears them both for running and casual outings, and they’ve held up beautifully. The breathable mesh upper keeps his feet cool even during longer runs, and the midsole cushioning absorbs impact nicely without feeling too soft or unstable. The grip on the outsole provides solid traction on roads and gym floors, giving confidence with every step.
Design-wise, they look sleek and modern — the classic Nike styling pairs well with both athletic and casual outfits. After several weeks of use, the shoes still look almost new, showing how well they’re built.
Pros:
✅ Lightweight yet supportive — great for running or walking
✅ Comfortable fit right out of the box
✅ Excellent breathability and cushioning
✅ Durable construction that holds up with daily use
✅ Stylish design that transitions easily from workout to casual wear
Cons:
• Runs slightly narrow, so consider sizing up if between sizes
Overall, the Nike Quest 6 offers exceptional comfort and quality for the price. My son says they’re some of the most comfortable shoes he’s ever worn — perfect for both training and everyday wear.
If you’re looking for a reliable running shoe that combines performance, durability, and style, this is an excellent choice.

Excellent Running Shoe
Size: 11, Color: Black/University Red/White
The Nike Quest 6 has been a great fit right out of the box. The sizing felt true, and the shoe wrapped comfortably without feeling tight or loose. It was easy to get a secure, natural fit from the first wear.
Quality is solid for everyday use. The materials feel well put together, and the shoe holds up nicely for walking and light running. It feels dependable and comfortable for regular wear.
What really stood out was the value. The price was much better than what I saw in retail stores, especially for a Nike shoe that performs this well. It’s an easy way to get a reliable running shoe without paying full store pricing.
Overall, it’s a comfortable, well-made shoe that delivers a lot for the cost.
