Care
Low maintenance, requires regular watering when young, and benefits from minimal pruning after flowering. Prefers living in full sun to partial shade and likes the soil to be moist, slightly acidic, organic, well-drained soil. Best grown in zones 4-8.
Growth Habit
Growing 10-15 feet tall and 8-10 feet wide, it is ideal for small gardens, often blooming again in summer.
Toxicity
While not poisonous, consuming large quantities of any plant material may cause mild gastrointestinal upset (vomiting or diarrhea). Deer resistant.
