interRAI Mental Health Clinical Assessment Protocols For Use with Community and Hospital-based Mental Health Assessment Instruments, known as CAPs, are designed to help the assessor interpret systematically all the information recorded with the instruments' assessment forms. CAPs are not intended to automate care planning; rather, they are decision-support tools to inform interactions between clinicians and persons with mental health needs.

These new CAPs can also be used with the prior generation of interRAI assessment instruments that are used in in-patient settings (RAI-MH). This set of twenty-one CAPs can be used across the continuum of mental health services, and they replace the previous Mental Health Assessment Protocols (MHAPs) for the RAI-MH. The release of these mental health CAPs follows the 2008 release of the CAPs for home care, community health, and long-term care facilities.

This book includes introductory material followed by the CAPs themselves, which are organized into the five broad areas of Safety, Social Life, Economic Issues, Autonomy, and Health Promotion. The appendix provides a summary of interRAI scales and algorithms referred to in the CAPs.

No annoying "Disk not ejected properly" messages!

I use these with MacBook Airs, both Intel and Apple M3, and they stay connected. Previous —cheaper—dongles kept disconnecting with no apparent moving of the computer or the dongle. I'd get the annoying "Disk not ejected properly" message repeatedly, meaning I'd have to remove the dongle plug, reinsert it, and hope that the external device showed up on the computer and stayed connected. These always stay connected and seem to work well for the external devices I use. I think it's in the plug: with the Acer, I hear a distinct little click when the plug is fully inserted—perhaps some subtle locking mechanism the cheaper dongles did not have.

2nd EDIT: Not only did the company offer a refund, they also generously shipped me another unit, and it works just as it should! EDIT: the company quickly reached out and offered a full refund as a result of a faulty product. For me, that goes a long way. I have plenty of ACER products and normally have no issues with them. could have just been a faulty single product. Very bummed. For the first 2 hours of use it worked great. When it’s just USB-C to HDMI connected it works fine, but the second I go to plug my Mac in, while using the HDMI to stream to my monitor, the screen begins flashing every second or two on both my Mac, and the monitor. The flashing screen is happening at the same time the Mac keeps making its “chime” that the charger is connected, over and over again. Clearly something is going on that the charging is not staying active. whenever the charger is first connected it causes a quick(ish)black screen, which I could live with if it just happened right as I plugged the charger in… but when the charger KEEPS thinkings it’s just getting plugged in over and over, and keeps flashing, it kind of makes the product useless. And I’ve already thrown the box away so I guess I’m stuck with a product that doesn’t work. Super bummer.
