The Accortec Intel I350 DP Gigabit Ethernet Card is a robust, enterprise-grade dual-port NIC designed to upgrade your desktop, server, or workstation with ultra-fast, reliable network connectivity. Built on the renowned Intel I350 family, this card delivers dependable performance for everyday business tasks, virtualization workloads, media streaming, and data-intensive applications. With two independent Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, you gain scalable network connectivity, enhanced fault tolerance through NIC teaming, and improved bandwidth utilization across your IT environment. Whether you are building a compact home lab or outfitting a data center rack, the Accortec I350 DP offers a balanced mix of performance, efficiency, and ease of deployment that makes it a standout choice in modern networking.

  • Dual-port, gigabit perfection: Two independent RJ-45 ports support 10/100/1000 Mbps with auto-negotiation, allowing you to segment traffic, create dedicated management networks, or bond connections for higher throughput in supported environments. The dual-port design enables flexible networking topologies without sacrificing space or simplicity.
  • PCIe 2.0 x1 integration: A compact PCIe interface ensures broad compatibility with desktop motherboards and servers. The low-profile or standard form factor (depending on the model) fits slim chassis and dense server bays, making it ideal for compact builds, 1U servers, or workstation upgrades. Plug-and-play installation minimizes downtime and accelerates deployment.
  • Hardware offloads for efficiency: The Intel I350 DP leverages hardware-based offloads such as checksum offload, Large Send Offload (LSO), and Large Receive Offload (LRO) to reduce CPU usage. This translates to smoother multitasking, better CPU headroom for applications, and improved overall system throughput, especially in multi-threaded server workloads.
  • Optimized for virtualization and teaming: Designed with virtualization in mind, the dual-port NIC supports NIC teaming for fault tolerance and increased aggregate bandwidth. It’s a reliable choice for VMnet traffic, virtual switch configurations, and workloads requiring stable, predictable network performance in Hyper-V, VMware, or KVM environments.
  • Reliability, efficiency, and wide OS support: Known for durability and low power consumption, the I350 DP helps keep data centers cooler and quieter. It is backed by broad driver support across Windows and Linux distributions, ensuring straightforward installation and ongoing compatibility with firmware and software updates.

how to install Accortec Intel I350 DP Gigabit Ethernet Card

Installing the Accortec Intel I350 DP is straightforward and designed for minimal disruption to your system. Follow these steps to ensure a clean, successful integration into desktops, workstations, or servers.

1) Prepare your system: Power down the computer, unplug the power cord, and ground yourself to prevent static discharge. Remove the chassis cover to access the PCIe slots. Verify that you have an available PCIe x1 or larger slot and confirm there is adequate clearance for a dual-port NIC.

2) Insert the card: Carefully align the I350 DP card with the PCIe slot and press firmly until it seats securely. Use a screw to secure the card’s bracket if your chassis requires one. If you have a low-profile build, ensure you’re using the half-height bracket variant provided with the card.

3) Connect network cables: Attach two RJ-45 cables to the card’s ports, routing them to your switch, router, or network appliance. Plan cable management to preserve airflow and reduce strain on connectors.

4) Power on and verify hardware: Reassemble the chassis, reconnect power, and boot the system. The motherboard BIOS/UEFI will recognize the new PCIe device. Some systems may automatically initialize the NIC and assign a basic driver during boot.

5) Install drivers and configure: Install the latest drivers from Intel or Accortec’s support resources to enable full functionality and optimal performance. Windows users typically run the driver installer, while Linux users may install a package or rely on the kernel’s igb/e1000-based driver support. After driver installation, configure network settings, set up NIC teaming if desired, and apply any required VLANs or QoS rules.

6) Test and optimize: Use your operating system’s network tools to verify link status, speed, and duplex settings. For virtualization hosts or data centers, test NIC teaming or bonds, and adjust offload settings for your workload. If you enable Jumbo Frames, ensure your entire network path (switches, routers, and endpoints) supports 9K frames to avoid fragmentation.

Additional tips for best results: keep firmware and drivers up to date, monitor CPU utilization during peak traffic, and document your network topology for easier troubleshooting. The dual-port design offers flexibility for creating dedicated networks for management, storage, or VM traffic, reducing contention and improving overall performance.

Frequently asked questions

  • What does "DP" mean in the Accortec Intel I350 DP card? DP stands for Dual Port, indicating the adapter provides two independent Gigabit Ethernet interfaces on a single PCIe card for flexible networking and redundancy.
  • Can this card operate at full speed with Windows and Linux? Yes. The card is designed for broad OS compatibility. Install the latest drivers from Intel or Accortec to ensure full functionality across Windows and Linux distributions, with virtualization features and NIC teaming available where supported by the platform.
  • Do I need special cables or switches? You can use standard Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet cables. For maximum reliability and features like VLANs or NIC teaming, connect to a switch or router that supports Gigabit Ethernet and your chosen network features. Jumbo Frames require network equipment that also supports 9K frames.
  • Is it suitable for servers and data centers? Yes. The I350 DP is a common choice for servers and SMBs due to its balance of performance, reliability, and low power usage. It’s well-suited for VM hosts, storage networks, and dedicated management networks when used with NIC teaming and proper driver configuration.
  • What should I consider for virtualization? The dual-port design is ideal for NIC teaming and traffic separation in virtualized environments. Durable, Dogs love it
Color: Red
My Frenchie is a crazy chewer and can chew up a nylabone in a day, so I was looking for something that would last longer. So far this is holding up, and is pretty durable. Both my dogs like it a lot, it’s easy for them to grasp, and chewable but still very tough material. I suspect at some point it’ll wear down, but not for a while. The size was just as described / expected. Not too small and not too big

NOT FOR PLAYING CATCH.
Color: Blue
This toy is quite heavy, making it good for a chew toy or for fetch, but not for catch. It could very easily injure your dog as it damned near did mine.

Durable bone that you can add a spreadable treat to
Color: Blue
Our German Shepherd was 4 months old when we purchased this. She’s going to be 6 months soon. She has been teething really bad. We wanted some way to sooth her pain. This product was just what we needed. We put it in the freezer with some peanut butter in the center on both sides. Once frozen we give to our puppy. She loves it. When we open the freezer she recognizes the ziplock package that it was delivered in which we store it in our freezer. She jumps around until we give it to her. She loves it and it keeps her occupied for a while. It is very durable. I did not notice any smell when we received it. It does not make any noise. The plastic material is safe for animals. To clean I put in the dishwasher. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because sometimes the peanut butter gets stuck in it and may need to go through the dishwasher twice which is not a big deal. Or you can hand wash it. I found the dishwasher was best for us. You do not even have to put anything on it, but our pup likes it. I would recommend to others.
