Jamaika, die Region Trelawny, das Ende einer Allee aus Königspalmen: Hier steht eines der vermutlich prächtigsten Anwesen der Karibik – das Hampden Great House. 1779 von den ersten Besitzern des Anwesens, den Stirlings, erbaut, steht die Villa mit ausladenden Loggien bis heute repräsentativ für die Hampden Estate Distillery, die direkt nebenan liegt. Mit der Distillery Edition 2021 hat die Brennerei jetzt die dritte Edition der Hommage an das alte Herrenhaus destilliert. Dafür hat die von Kennern weltweit für ihre einzigartigen Produktionsmethoden und besonders aromatischen Stil verehrte Destillerie zwei Rums unterschiedlicher Jahrgänge und Marques verblendet. Das Ergebnis: intensiver, tropisch-fruchtiger, authentischer Trelawny-Rum-Genuss.

Nase: intensiv und kraftvoll. Medizinisch und kampferartig mit reifen Bananen- und Ananas-Aromen.
Gaumen: kräftig und geradlinig mit Noten von Kakao, Ananas, Kräutern und Gebäck.
 
Abgang: lang und ölig mit Zimt, Muskatnuss, Kakao und den süßen Aromen von Hefekuchen.
