Mid Century Esavian Bent Plywood School Table / Desk - 1404cA striking and very unusual school table or desk. We believe to be manufactured by Esavian although there are no makers marks present. Excellent restored condition. The base of the table is stunning, constructed with steam bent plywood which gives the top the appearance of floating. We have come across similar desks by Esavian over the years but nothing with a base such as this. We have replaced the original MDF top with a solid piece of 18mm birch

The base of the table is stunning, constructed with steam bent plywood which gives the top the appearance of floating. We have come across similar desks by Esavian over the years but nothing with a base such as this.

We have replaced the original MDF top with a solid piece of 18mm birch plywood which we have also resurfaced with a highly durable white Formica, this gives the table/desk a modern twist but also makes for a very practical top, being easy to wipe down and clean.

In excellent restored condition, some minor polished in marks to the base as to be expected for its age, please take a look at the photographs for more detail.
