Notes

The title “LIGHT & DARK” refers to the juxtaposition of different musical genres, between "light and serious", a multifaceted abstract percussion blending sounds of nature, dance, folklore, legends, and the severe sonic architectures from J. S. Bach to the present day. In the "LIGHT" CD, one can appreciate Keiko Abe's "Wind Sketch II" (Scherzi del Vento), a Japanese composer often inspired by natural events in her music. Cadença per Berimbau by Ney Rosauro focuses on the chordophone percussion instrument of African origin used in Brazil in the acrobatic dance Capoeira. Afro-Amero by Phil Faini is characterized by deep roots in the percussion of the 6/8 rhythms of the African Yoruba tribe. This is followed by pleasant arrangements of Birdland by Joseph Zawinul, ex-Weather Report, and Why not! by the virtuoso pianist of Puerto Rican origin Michael Camilo. With Ney Rosauro's Mitos Brasileiros, we delve into Brazilian mysteries and legends, with the narration of its bizarre characters represented by colorful rhythms, sounds, and instruments. The CD concludes with a solo jazz drum performance accompanied by a small percussion orchestra in John Beck's Drum Concerto. The "DARK" CD, on the other hand, presents a program with a distinct classical and contemporary feel. It begins with the sonic architecture of J. S. Bach in this Prelude in the atypical version for two marimbas; it continues with the spatialized timbral interpenetrations of sound tubes, glasses, and vibraphone in Mimesis, a piece composed for the Ensemble by Giovanni Bonato, and with Lou Harrison's unique experience in 1942, experimenting with references to Javanese music with sounds obtained from recycled objects such as trash cans, disc brakes, watch and truck springs… Following this: Metal-mente, a serial piece for vibraphone and only percussive and rubbed metallophones with curious but effective methods, dedicated to Edoardo Gioachini and the Ensemble; Kecak, "the dance of the chattering monkeys" by the Japanese Akira Nishimura, inspired by one of the dramaturgies of the island of Bali and based on four sequences that intertwine like a rhythmic belt coupled with a pair of timpani and vibraphone that develop a dialogue similar to the Indian Raga. It concludes with a "live" version of Ionisation by Edgard Varèse for thirteen performers, described by Curt Sachs as "the greatest rhythmic inspiration ever composed," an absolute masterpiece, completed in 1932, characterized by an incessant explosion of imagination and timbral creativity within traditional constructive elements.

Works well...but the price!
I ordered two sets to connect 3 monitors together for a workstation at my job. These are well designed and the magnets are pretty strong. Installation is easy and it holds the alignment well. The only issue is the price. For what it is, the price is quite high. The value proposition would be much higher for those who need to be able to not have them aligned from time to time, such as rotating one around for others to see in an office. But if don't need to do this and just want alignment, there are much cheaper options. If you want to go the cheapest DIY route and it won't be seen, some popsicle sticks with two sided tape works well. You can crack them in the middle to act as a hinge.

Awesome product only thing that worked
I originally thought the Screen Buddy was overpriced, but after spending hundreds of dollars trying to perfectly align my monitors for sim racing, this is genuinely the only thing that has actually worked properly. Triple monitor alignment is one of the most frustrating parts of building a sim rig, especially with monitor arms constantly moving or sagging. This finally made everything line up the way I wanted. Expensive? Maybe. Worth it after all the headaches? Absolutely. Great job.

Doesn't stick
The adhesive tape kept coming off. I cleaned and followed the installation instructions, but it still kept coming off. Wouldn't recommend.

Works Great, Very happy customer
I’ve tried a few different ways to connect and manage dual monitors, and the Screen Buddy Dual Monitor Connector is easily one of the most straightforward and reliable solutions I’ve used. Setup was quick—no confusing instructions or extra headaches Performance-wise, it’s been rock solid. The connection stays stable and even when I bumped the monitors once, and they disconnected, it was a quick push and they clicked right back together. Build quality feels solid and durable, not flimsy like some cheaper connectors. It’s clearly designed with everyday users in mind, whether you’re working, gaming, or multitasking across multiple apps. Overall, it delivers exactly what it promises: a simple, dependable way to keep your screens connected with no gaps or one being too high or too low. Definitely worth it if you want a clean, hassle-free dual monitor setup.

Warning, if you have two different thickness of monitors these may not work as intended.
The product seems very well made and the adhesive is very strong. These seem like they would work really well if you have two monitors of the same thickness, in my case I did not and they actually created more of a gap then without.
