Large antique bamboo cabinet.A rather splendid, well made large anglo Japanese or Chinese bamboo cabinet, I'm guessing from the 19th century judging by the deep colour and patina. It's very pleasing to look at the splayed legs, the profile and curve of the side edging and bottom apron, the symmetry of the feet with the top, the circle design in the doors, the deep colour and patina of the sturdy bamboo. A rather splendid, well-made large anglo-Japanese or Chinese bamboo cabinet, I'm guessing from the 19th century judging by the deep colour and patina. 

It's very pleasing to look at - the splayed legs, the profile and curve of the side edging and bottom apron, the symmetry of the feet with the top, the circle design in the doors, the deep colour and patina of the sturdy bamboo.

It is in excellent condition considering its age - there are the expected blemishes, and I can just see one small slither of wood loss to the surface of one of the back legs (zoom in on photo), and one of the small circular door handles has a small piece missing, which I still have, but that's it. There is no shelf inside, but I can't see signs that there ever was one. Very strong and sturdy, with no wobbles, etc.

A very beautiful versatile piece - perfect for a hallway, lounge, dining room, kitchen or bathroom.
