The Oregon coast is a rugged, beautiful place known for its dramatic landscapes and fierce storms. Separated from the state's population centers by the Coast Range, it is a land of small towns reliant primarily on fishing and tourism. Many of the stories Tobias covered were tragedies: car crashes, falls, drownings, capsizings. And those were just the accidents; Tobias covered plenty of violent crimes as well, such as the infamous Christian Longo murders of 2001. Tobias's story is as much her own as it is the coast's, and she takes the reader through familiar beats of life--learning to live on and cover the coast, regular trips back east as her parents age, the decline of journalism in the twenty-first century--and the unexpected, often unglamorous experiences of a working reporter, such as a bout of vertigo after rappelling from a helicopter. Natural and safe
The soap is very nice and lathers well. I got a box filled with different scents. My favorite is the oatmeal lavender. The other scents are not exactly what I would go for. But they are fine. I would prefer coconut or eucalyptus.
I like that the soap contains all natural ingredients and no harsh perfumes.

Good price & variety
I ordered this just before Christmas to give away as gifts and gave one to my bf as well. All the scents were strong and I enjoyed them. My boyfriend and I used the one that I gave him (patchouli scent with the scrub) to test it out. It was very exfoliating. It didn’t bother us, maybe we got a good batch, or just have skin not as gentle as others. It felt similar to a sugar scrub.
For the price, you get a good amount and variety of this soap. I might get another box just for myself. If you check the ingredients they are actually very simple & natural, not full of parabens or random chemicals that you can’t even pronounce.

Nice soaps!
After visiting Colorado and trying real goats milk soap we have yet to find anything we liked as much.
On a whim I purchased this pack.
My husband and I both like them very much. As much as we like to shop local it’s been hard to find what we wanted.
We will definitely purchase again. We like the scents, the natural exfoliators and the softness it leaves our skin.
