We've hand painted the wooden oval with Sweet Pickins Milk Paint in a subtle very light grey neutral for the background of the main image. Add a touch of vintage French style sophistication to your decor with our lovely Oval Rose Picture created in our workshop in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

We've hand painted the wooden oval with Sweet Pickins Milk Paint in a subtle very light grey neutral for the background of the main image. You can see all of the crackles in the paint which we have dark waxed here and there to add age.

We have applied a gorgeous rose posy from Iron Orchid Designs 'By Any Other Name' Transfer and then added 'fly-speck' to the image to imitate age. We've used a sweet little bow casting from the IOD Wreath and Swags mould and beading from the Classic Elements mould. We then 'gilded' the frame using Pentart antique waxes in various colours including gold and brass.

The back of the oval has been clear waxed for protection and a hanging bar has been added.

The Oval Rose Picture measures 27cm  x 21.5cm x 2cm.

This is a brand new item that we have decorated.
