Our Nissan specific CNC machined stem and loop is made of 4130 steel. The stem is black zinc coated for corrosion resistance. The loop is powder coated Black (Blue, Gray, and Red are available). This is not a universal tow hook. The stem was specifically designed for the Z/370Z and the length was carefully determined to fit the front bumper. Both the stem and bolt threads are pre-coated with Vibra-tite threadlocker. This keeps your tow hook from loosening due to vibration. Very soft and comfy, but not thick at all

The blanket is very soft and comfortable. Its also the correct size. However We were looking for something thicker and heavier for a winter blanket. This isn't that. Its pretty thin and lightweight. Fine for spring - fall but not great for winter. We ended up using it underneath our other comforter. It also has an awful smell when you first open it and it takes a few days for that smell to wear off.
