Classical. Original compositions by: G. Rossini, W. A. Mozart, L. V. Beethoven, Pugnani- Kreisler.
Orchestra Filarmonica Giovanile “Alpe Adria” conductor Luigi Pistore, Leonora Armellini piano solo, Davide Alogna violino solo.
The “Alpe Adria” Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, founded in Gorizia by Maestro Luigi Pistore, is composed of young musicians aged between 15 and 25 from all over Europe. Within the orchestra, different schools, musical traditions and interpretations coexist, and the universal language of music "spoken" by the young musicians becomes a privileged vehicle for knowledge, unity and friendship among peoples. Since its foundation and during the various musical workshops held in Gorizia, more than 250 orchestral musicians and young soloists, winners of prestigious international competitions, have participated.
This CD was recorded entirely live on December 7, 2008 at the Auditorium of Gorizia, at the end of the 2008 Workshop.
The program opens with a classic Rossini Symphony "written at Conventello".
The second piece allows us to appreciate for the second time on record the brightest piano talent of at least the last 10 years, Leonora Armellini, in her interpretation of Mozart's Concerto No. 27, KV595 for piano and orchestra.
The album closes with another young and talented violin soloist, Davide Alogna, who presents the famous Romance in F Major by Ludwig van Beethoven and the Prelude and Allegro in the style of Pugnani, written by the great virtuoso Fritz Kreisler.
The recording, personally curated by Marco Lincetto, was made as usual in 24bit/88.2kHz digital standard.
