Field has long been a favorite place to stop, a quiet stretch where trains and mountains come together. The challenge was always timing, catching both the train and the mountain in the same moment. Some days the train would come, but the mountain would be hidden in cloud. Other days, the light or weather would not cooperate.
The composition was inspired by vintage Canadian Pacific posters, imagining the train emerging from the mountain itself. When everything finally aligned, the moment felt both familiar and rare, where place, timing, and vision came together.
