To Cast a Shadow's sound has evolved over time, through a fusion of several diverse influences including bands like Type O Negative, Anathema, Terje Rypdal, My Dying Bride, Tool, Paradise Lost, the 3rd and the Mortal, and of course, Black Sabbath. The sound was complete when the reputable Grammy Nominated folksinger Camilla Granlien joined the band in 2006 and added her unique vocal style to their sound.
