Managing Cable Routing and Strain: When dressing the talent, guide the thin control wire alongside the primary lavalier or headset microphone cable using small cable bands or surgical tape. Avoid twisting or sharply bending the RMS 1 cable around the bodypack base, as excessive strain over time can break the inner copper shielding strands, leading to intermittent connection dropouts or erratic mute triggers mid-show.
