Brandy Boy Beefsteak Tomato Plant

The Brandy Boy is a premium hybrid beefsteak tomato that combines the beloved rich, sweet flavour of the classic heirloom Brandywine with improved vigour, disease resistance and higher yields. This indeterminate variety produces large, pink-red beefsteak fruits with meaty, succulent flesh — perfect for slicing, salads and sandwiches. Supplied as an established plant in a 2Ltr root ball, ready to be planted outdoors once the risk of frost has passed.

What's Included:

  • 1 x Brandy Boy Beefsteak Tomato Plant in a 2Ltr Root Ball

Key Features:

  • Classic Brandywine-style flavour with improved hybrid performance
  • Large, pink-red beefsteak fruits with rich, sweet, old-fashioned tomato taste
  • High yielding indeterminate variety — crops throughout the season
  • Improved disease resistance compared to traditional Brandywine
  • Outdoor garden ready — ideal for beds, borders, grow bags or large containers
  • Supplied as an established plant for a head start on the growing season

Growing Tips:

Plant outdoors in a warm, sheltered position once all risk of frost has passed. Provide sturdy support such as a stake or cage, as this indeterminate variety will continue to grow and produce fruit throughout the season. Water regularly at the base of the plant, keeping foliage dry where possible. Feed with a high-potash tomato fertiliser once the first truss of fruit begins to set. Pinch out side shoots regularly to encourage larger fruits and better air circulation.

Why are these books so hard to find in libraries and bookstores??!
Format: Paperback
Bought nearly the whole book series after reading the reviews. My 8 and 10 year old boys love these books. My 10 year old read the first book on his way to and from soccer practice. He couldn't put it down and kept telling me what he read. My boys have read all the "Magic Treehouse", "I Survived" and some "I Escaped" books, as well as "Big Nate", "Diary of a Wimpy Kid", etc. BUT these battle books are the best. They really teach about the history of the wars which have shaped our modern times. WHY are these books so hard to find in libraries and bookstores... at least in Maryland? Maybe because "Great Battles for Boys" reeks of toxic masculinity? I really wonder. In any case, great books especially if you want your boys to read serious, informative books that are interesting and entertaining.

Great for boys AND MOMS
Format: Paperback
Saw an ad for the series online and wanted to buy just one book to try. Received with 2 day Prime. Book was new. So, not only does this book have an incredible, intriguing story that sucked in my 10 year old who hates reading and struggles to read, it had me at Hello. The beginning of the book is filled with recipes! Was totally not expecting that! So for this Momma, under promise-over deliver was the theme here. Purchasing the rest of the books! Also look online for worksheets that parents have put together to go along with these books. Totally worth it. Happy Reading! AND Cooking!

Great reads for all levels
Format: Paperback
I bought 2 for a 6th grade boy I tutor. He has a beginning interest in history. He's been 'eating' these books up! These are well written, but not complex to turn a young reader off. There are many alternative resources to listed to dive into if a particular person or event sparks interest with the reader. There is appropriate vocabulary with explanations on some- others open a chance for my student & I to have a deeper discussion to clarify meaning & connect information.

Great book for an (almost) 11 year old to learn about WW2
Format: Paperback
My (almost) 11 year old says he enjoyed this book because it gives specific details and has pictures of what was going on making it easy to understand what was happening. The only thing he’d change was that the pictures weren’t in color (lol)!
