Origins & Craftsmanship
Produced by WhistlePig in Vermont, this release represents a bold expansion into ultra-aged American single malt. Distilled from 100% malted barley, the whiskey is matured for 30 years in American oak, developing structure, depth, and mature oak integration.
It is then finished in Vin Santo casks from Italy, a defining element of the whiskey’s profile. Vin Santo—made from partially dried grapes and aged oxidatively—imparts honeyed richness, dried fruit complexity, and a subtle nutty character, distinguishing this release from more conventional cask finishes.
The extended maturation and finishing create a whiskey that is notably fruit-forward and dessert-leaning, while still grounded by decades of oak development.
