We recommend avoiding SOTF (switch-on-the-fly) on LMLs. Unlike older generations, they can’t hold five separate tunes—it just tricks the fuel system by limiting fueling, which ends up making the truck run poorly. We only use single tunes on LMLs and suggest going with a high-horsepower one. The higher the horsepower, the better the MPG—as long as you’re not constantly flooring it
