Lars Rolf (1923–2001)
Lars Rolf was a swedish artist, trained at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm. He reduced his motifs to simplistic emblems of life and movements. Rolf participated in the group show L'Art Suédois 1913–1953 at Galerie Denise René - Rive Gauche in Paris in 1953 and at 5ª Bienal Do Museu De Arte Moderna De São Paulo in São Paulo in 1959. His work is represented in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm and Nationalmuseum.
