Trotz emsiger Bemühungen und einigen Rabattaktionen gelang es aber nicht, die Auslastung in die Gewinnzone zu bringen, was dem Zug dann bereits im Dezember 2004 das Aus bescherte. Zunächst sollten die Wagen abgestellt werden, doch man besann sich erfreulicherweise eines Besseren und setzte sie, freilich nicht mehr im schmucken Silber, im IC-Verkehr ein. Im Dezember 2021 wurden die Wagen dann aus dem Dienst genommen. Ein bemerkenswertes Kapitel deutscher Reisekultur ging damit zu Ende.
Modell: Schnellzuglokomotive mit Digital-Decoder mfx+ und umfangreichen Geräuschfunktionen. Geregelter Hochleistungsantrieb mit Schwungmasse, zentral eingebaut. 4 Achsen über Kardan angetrieben. Haftreifen. Fahrtrichtungsabhängig wechselndes Dreilicht-Spitzensignal und 2 rote Schlusslichter konventionell in Betrieb, digital schaltbar. Fernscheinwerfer und Führerstandbeleuchtung separat digital schaltbar. Spitzenlicht an Lokseite 2 und 1 jeweils separat digital abschaltbar. Doppel-A-Licht-Funktion. An Lokseite 2 ist eine 2-polige Kupplung im Normschacht eingesteckt, als elektrische Verbindung zum Schnellzugwagen 1. Alle Wagen mit serienmäßig eingebauter indirekter LED-Innenbeleuchtung, dimmbar und digital schaltbar über Decoder im Steuerwagen. Mit Pufferkondensatoren zur Überbrückung kurzer stromloser Stellen. Steuerwagen mit mfx-Digital-Decoder. Dreilicht-Spitzensignal und zwei rote Schlusslichter konventionell in Betrieb, digital schaltbar. Fernlicht, Führerstandbeleuchtung und Fahrpult-Beleuchtung im Steuerwagen jeweils separat digital schaltbar. Stromführende 4-polige Kupplung zwischen den Schnellzugwagen. Beleuchtung Lok und Wagen mit wartungsfreien warmweißen und roten Leuchtdioden (LED). Wagen 1 zur Lok gerichtet mit Gummiwulst-Übergang. Detaillierte Darstellung der mehrfarbigen Inneneinrichtungen. Schleiferumschaltung zwischen Lok und Steuerwagen. Für die volle Funktionsfähigkeit des ganzen Zuges ist eine definierte Fahrzeugreihenfolge vorgegeben. Befahrbarer Mindestradius 360 mm, ohne Beachtung des Lichtraum-Profils. Für größere Radien kann im Bereich der Kupplungen an den Wagen-Enden jeweils die serienmäßig montierte gegen eine separat beiliegende Schürze getauscht werden.

Heavy-Duty Solution for Large Towers — Rock Solid
This CPU holder is exactly what I needed to reclaim my desktop workspace. I wanted to get the computer off the desk to clear up room for projects, but I didn't want to put it on the floor where it’s susceptible to static and pet hair. This mount keeps the tower tucked away under the desk but still within easy reach.
Build Quality & Weight:
The unit is impressively well-built with sturdy steel. While the specs state it can hold up to 44 lbs, my current build is closer to 20 lbs, and it handles it with zero flex or wobble. It feels very secure once locked in.
Design & Airflow:

Great way to keep your PC off the floor, especially with a standing desk
This mount is a great solution if you want to get your desktop tower off the floor and clean up the space around your desk. The construction feels very solid and once installed it holds the PC securely without any wobble. I like that the frame is adjustable so it can fit different case sizes, and the open design allows for good airflow while still supporting the case well.
It is especially helpful if you have a standing desk. Keeping the tower mounted under the desk means all of the cables move with the desk when it raises or lowers, which makes everything much cleaner and easier to manage. Installation takes a little planning to line things up correctly, but once it is mounted it feels very secure. If you want a cleaner workspace and a better setup for a standing desk, this mount works really well.

Built Like a Tank… Maybe Too Big
This thing is solid. The build quality is exactly what you want when you’re hanging a PC under a desk—sturdy steel, secure mounting, and plenty of adjustability to fit larger cases. It definitely does its job of getting your tower off the floor and out of the way.
That said, size matters here—and this is built for big cases. If your setup is more compact, it is overkill. Definitely measure before you commit, because while the adjustability is nice, it’s clearly designed with larger towers in mind.

My god
Build Quality
The steel construction is very solid and feels durable enough to support a desktop tower or similar device. The powder-coated finish also helps protect against scratches.

Rock Solid and Computer / Wall Safe! Last PC Mount you'll ever need.
This is the hardware that you want in your office: robust, no-nonsense, and able to boss you around its workload. I installed a full size PC case/server in it, and it is rock solid once you lock it in. The open-frame design also merits a mention here as it greatly improves airflow and allows you to access ports on the motherboards and other hardware on your rig should you want to during your gaming sessions without bringing too much heat inside and causing headaches. The width of the holder can be adjusted (approximately 7.7” through 11.8”) in width and (approximately 20” through 25.8”) in height so it fits a large variety of towers, so you don't have to worry whether it could fit your set-up or not. Smaller towers may have substantially more wiggle room though.
The mount's weight limit is no joke—up to 44 lbs—so you're not sacrificing stability just to save a few bucks. The shells are quite secure, although some people may have wished for a little more tightening bite; they still prevent your equipment from falling off if you accidentally bump on a wall, which is more important than you may think.
A little nitpick: the lower wall-mount bracket could have a couple of extra pilot holes to reduce twisting over time. Not a breaker, just a heads-up for all of you who are looking to the long term. Altogether, it's a reliable, solid fix that is well worth the cost, particularly if you're cramming space and airflow in a tight configuration.
