Der kräftige 2700 Watt Elektro-Motor sowie das qualitativ hochwertige 18" bzw. 45,5 cm ProCut-Schwert und -Kette machen die scheppach CSE2700 Kettensäge zum idealen Arbeitsgerät für Sägearbeiten rund ums Haus: zum Auslichten und Zurückscheiden von Bäumen sowie zum Entfernen von Sträuchern und Hecken oder zum Brennholzsägen. Mit der Schnittstärke von 44 cm sind auch stärkere Äste oder gar Bäume kein Problem.

Dank Elektroantrieb atmet man beim Sägen keine schädlichen Gase ein. Am Griff ist eine Zugentlastung für das Verlängerungskabel angebracht, damit es immer richtig sitzt und ein unterbrechungsfreies Arbeiten möglich ist. Über ein Sichtfenster lässt sich der Ölstand jederzeit kontrollieren. So gestaltet sich die Kontrolle besonders einfach.

Die Kettenschmierung erfolgt automatisch, sodass man sich darüber während der Arbeit keine Gedanken machen muss. Auch lässt sich die Kette jederzeit und ohne Werkzeug über ein Stellrad und das Ketten-Schnellspann-System nachspannen. Dadurch erreicht die CSE2700 eine hohe Flexibilität trotz Elektroanschluss.

Für möglichst komfortables Arbeiten wurde die Elektro-Kettensäge besonders kompakt und leicht konstruiert. Der umlaufende Handgriff ermöglicht viele Griff- und Einsatzmöglichkeiten, um das Arbeiten zu erleichtern und Ermüdungserscheinungen vorzubeugen. Auch das geringe Gewicht von 4,8 kg erleichtert die Sägearbeiten zusätzlich.

Noch wichtiger als das hohe Maß an Komfort sind die eingebauten Sicherheitsmechanismen. Der große Krallenanschlag aus Metall ermöglicht es, beim Sägen mit einlaufender Kette den Motorblock am Holz zu fixieren. Ein unkontrolliertes Ausschlagen der Kettensäge wird somit erschwert. Außerdem kann durch ihn eine Hebelwirkung genutzt werden, um Druck auf die Sägekette zu entwickeln. Bei einem Rückschlag stoppt die Kettenbremse innerhalb weniger Millisekunden.

Die CSE2700 wird serienmäßig mit Kettenschutz geliefert, damit sie sicher transportiert und gelagert werden kann.
