Die Sweet Iron Gebisse werden aus hochwertigem Stahl in den Niederlanden gefertigt. Ihre erkennbare blaue Farbe erhalten sie durch eine Erhitzung im Herstellungsprozess. Sweet Iron entwickelt durch Kontakt mit (Luft-) Feuchtigkeit Oberflächenrost der süßlich schmeckt und auf natürliche Weise die Speichelproduktion anregt. Das Pferd kaut besser, wodurch es mehr schäumt und das Gebiss wird besser angenommen. Durch die Rostentwicklung (Oxidation) ändert sich die blaue Farbe des TRUST Gebisses in silber/gräulich bis braun. Das Sweet Iron Gebiss wird bei vorübergehender Nichtverwendung eine dünne orange-braune Rostschicht auf dem Mundstück bilden. Dies kann mit einem feuchten Tuch einfach entfernt werden.
